Kindness changes the world.
The Casey Schulman Foundation was started as a non-profit foundation in 2014 with the mission of awarding a college scholarship to Justice High School students who would carry on the kindness, positivity and interest in the world around them as Casey Schulman had done in her lifetime.
These students are representatives of the foundation for their intellectual motivation and their concern and interest in helping others.
Since the inception of the scholarship, we started Shine On; community-led volunteer programs that work in tandem with the scholarship, and is now a symbiotic part of the foundation.
The Milliken One Man Marathon
Supporting the Casey Schulman Foundation Scholarship! May 1st, 2021 Will Milliken will be running a marathon down the W&OD trail, from Ashburn to Alexandria, VA— by himself!— to raise money and awareness of The Casey Schulman Foundation. To donate, click the link below!
The Scholarship
The scholarship rewards students who have persevered through various challenges – poverty, severe health issues, bullying, racism, oppression – and, regardless of the challenges, have risen to the top.
